Bye Bye Tate

O.K SO THIS IS WHAT THE POST WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE!!!!!!! I wasn't finished and accidentally published it instead of saved as a draft hopefully it looks a little better!! And I might do spell check too!

Goodbye Tate!! I know he will be a great missionary and I am soooo excited for him. I will miss him ton's,but know it is for the best!! Love ya tons little brother!! o.k. so he pulls that face a lot!!

Tate is gone to the Mtc now!! I can finally have an extra minute to update. Since his call we have all been very busy trying to fit in a bunch of fun stuff before he left. I guess I'll start with when he left and work backwards. HE went to the MTC on Wednesday May 14. He was really nervous and it was really hard saying good buy to him. I know he will be really great and this is what he is supposed to be doing, but we will miss him. He came over that morning before Ryleigh Jo went to school to say goodbye to the girls. This was really hard for him, because he is really close to them and will miss them a lot, they will also change a lot in 2 years. Ryleigh Jo and Shandee cried and Kara was sad too.

Ryleigh Jo did say that she wasn't going

to get baptized until Tate gets back, but

he said she should and sent pictures and

maybe he can baptize a little girl like her

in California!

Shandee cried when she was going to bed

and said I don't know who I'll watch (t.v.)

with now!! She will miss him, but I'm not

sure she knows how long 2 years is for sure!! Kara is not sure what's going on

yet either!! Now when we say

where's Tate she says "Tete bye bye"

He was set apart as a missionary on Tuesday night. The blessing was really good. It promised him a lot of really good things. After the blessing we went to my mom's house for cake and ice cream (Some one's birthday I guess)

His farewell was on Sunday the 11th. It was also Mother's day. His talk was really good. He is quite a silly boy and he sure had people laughing, but he also did really good, and I know I felt the spirit. He decided to try to do his testimony in Spanish, because most people do it when they come back , so he thought he would try it before. It was good.

He went to the temple on April 19th! He was very excited to be able to go. It was really a great experience. He asked me to be in the prayer circle with him, because he gets to have his big brother's do stuff for him, like blessings and Archie baptized him, so he thought it would be good to have his big sister do that with him. I was glad, it was great and I really felt the spirit and I really felt like Brandee was there to be with Tate on his special day!!

out! Then we went to eat.

We had a cinco de Mayo party for him. It was really fun. We invited all the cousins and had some really good Mexican food. We also tied a quilt that he had to have for his mission. Everyone that was there tied at least one knot in his quilt. Then we had a pinata and they played basketball. I think it was really fun to be able to spend time together as a family.

One thing he wanted to do before he left was go on a family vacation, so we all went to St. George for a few days. (Archie and Kresta didn't and Gary because he had to work) It was a lot of fun. We just hung out and played together as a family. On the way down we stopped at the Manti Temple. Tate went to snow college and he used to go to the temple just to walk around the grounds, so he was really excited to be able to go inside. It is really beautiful and the wood work is awesome. When we got to St. George we just did fun stuff. They went golfing a few times and we went mini golfing and swimming a lot at our hotel pool. We also went out to some really great restaurants. We played at the park. I went shopping. We also went to the St. George temple. Then on the way home we stopped at the red cliffs for a picnic and some hiking. It was so much fun to be with the fam!!

just mad they got beat by a girl!!Not much more has been going on. We had a few busy weeks and now school will be out in 9 days and I get the summer off to spend time with the kids and just have lots of fun!!!! Catching up

So its been awhile since I last posted anything. Just been a little busy I guess. Not really doing anything. Thursday was Gary and I's anniversary. 9 years. We went to Park City to stay over night and go shopping. It was really fun. We stayed in a condo in Midway that Gary's parents got for us. It was really nice. Then Friday we went shopping at the outlets. My parents kept the kids and it was really nice to get away just the two of us. I took my camera to get lots of pictures and my battery was dead, oh well.

We also had a really fun FHE the other Monday. Ryleigh Jo said she wanted to be in charge, so I said that would be great. Come Monday she informed me she wanted to "Clean the World" so here we are with our garbage bags cleaning our part of the world. It turned out to be really fun. She was running up and down the ditch picking up all the beer cans. That was what most of it was.

We have just been enjoying our time together as a family. Gary is a great husband and father. And I couldn't ask for better kids. Yes, they fight and are quite a hand full at times, but I love them. I love being a mom and doing all the fun things together. Here is some pictures of Kara with her daddy. I got him trucks for his skateboard for our anniversary and Kara helped him put them on , then went and skated with him. He loved it. He don't have skater boy's, but hopes one of his girl's will turn out to be a skater.
Then here are some pictures of my dad and little brothers-ok-Younger brothers playing chalk with the girls. Oh yea I forgot to mention the way exciting thing that happened with Tate. He got his mission call. He is going to San Fernando California. He will be leaving on May 14. One day after my B-day!!!! He is really excited. The girl's are really going to miss him. Whenever Kara sees him she yells "TEEEET" It's so cute. Dylan also had a birthday he turned 16.Not much else is happening around here. Things are going good. We are happy.

EASTER!!!!

Here we are doing the egg coloring thing. Kara thought it was really fun to make her hands all pink. The girls had a lot of fun doing this. Gary also really likes to color eggs, he is really creative and we had some really fun eggsThen we went over to the huge riverside Easter egg hunt. This is usually a lot of fun and the girls get a lot of eggs. This year they didn't do so good. Ryleigh Jo just ran around and only got 4 eggs and Shandee only got 2, Kara did a little better with dad helping her. Luckily their cousin got like 30 eggs, so she shared. It was still fun.

Then we went to see the Easter bunny. Notice Shandee is not in this picture. I would like to lie and say she was scared of the bunny, but actually we stood in line forever and when it was our turn I could not find her. (She went back to grandpa's house with him.)

After the hunt we went to my grandma's house for a cook out. It is really fun because I get to see most of my cousins that I don't see very often. This was all on Saturday.Then on Sunday the Easter bunny found us and the girl's got lots of chocolate and some fun little toys. Then they had to find the eggs he hid outside. Kara was just happy to be outside!


Then we went to church. These are the cute dresses that my mom made for the girls. They really didn't want to get their pictures taken. Ryleigh Jo had to give a talk in primary. I was writing it about Easter and she wanted to know if she could talk about Brandee (Her aunt) So I let her help me write a part in the talk about Brandee, it was really good. After church we went to Gary's family and them mine for awhile. It was really a great Easter, we did a lot and had a lot of fun.

Disney on Ice

We took our little princesses to Disney on Ice on Saturday. It was soo much fun, I,m glad we decided to go.

They all dressed up too. Ryleigh Jo was Belle, Shandee was sleeping beauty and Kara was snow white. The show was so cute. Ryleigh Jo was very quiet the whole time and didn't say anything, that means she was really happy. Shandee

was so excited each new princess that came out she would scream their name, and Kara would wave to each princess as they were leaving and she would scream every once in a while. She was really good the whole time. Daddy wasn't too sure it was that much fun, but he went anyway! What a good daddy we have he loves watching all the princess shows with us!

Kara Nicola

Kara is our baby girl. She is 17 months old. She was born on October 27, 2006. We named her Kara because Gary wanted to use a comic book name and it was the only cute on I could agree on. It is the name of super girl. We got Nicola from my great-great-grandmother. She was an Indian.

Kara is so much fun to have in our family. She is a good girl. She loves her big sisters. It seems like she is growing up way too fast, because she wants to do everything her sister's are doing. The third kid is definitely the hardest. I had heard having two is not too bad, but when the third comes it makes everything harder, and it does!! She can get into so much trouble sometimes, she is by far my hardest!! But we love her!

She is already starting to figure out that she wants to go to grandpa and grandma's house. Grandpa is having a hard time juggling 3 girls, but he does a good job, they just love him!!

We call Kara "KARe bear" She loves playing with her sister's and all the fun toys we have. She also is becoming a daddy's little girl. They spend all day together while I am at work, and she is sad when he goes to work at night. We are so glad Kara came into our family we just love her cute personality and it is fun to hear her start to talk more and more.

Shandee V.

Shandee is our little monkey! She is 4 years old. She is so much fun! Shandee loves horses, for her birthday she got three barns and about 50 horses! She really likes poneyville too. She is also a really good big sister, even though Kara and her are about the same size in clothes and shoes. Shandee is taller. Shandee is going to speech once a week at fielding. She is struggling with her "D" sounds and "SH" she was really having a hard time one week when we were practicing saying dog and duck, she told me she was just going to start saying those words in Spanish. She is really a funny girl

If there was one person Shandee would want to spend time with it would be grandpa, She just loves him! He does everything she tells him to do. He is really good at being her horse.

Ryleigh Jo

O.k. So I thought it might be a good idea to kind of introduce and talk about each of my kids a little bit, for those of you who may not know them very well. And hopefully if I can add some cute pictures of each of my girls.

Ryleigh Jo just turned 7 on march 7th. she is our little princess! She is such a good kid. She is in the 1st grade, her teacher is Mrs. Reeder. She loves going to school. She is such a social butterfly, (Unlike her mom) She loves making new friends and she really tries to be every one's friend. When she was really little we were kind of worried what might happen to her because she would walk up to complete strangers and start talking to them. She also is doing really well in school. She really likes to read. She loves Junie B. Jones chapter books. Her teacher said she is on a 3rd grade reading level. She is also a good speller (unlike her mom) I wonder where she came from? My brother always said 2 dumbs = a smart!! Anyway, she really is a good girl. She is a really good big sister and she is a good helper at home.
Ryleigh Jo loves to play polly pocket and brats, she just got a play house for her birthday. She also really likes anything princess. I thought it was a phase she would grow out of, but she still really likes it. For the past 4 years on Halloween she has been a princess. She also really loves going to grandma's house!!
